It's in good condition not perfect. 93K miles runs great. Just put in two new window motors in the back windows. Paint is not great, interior is good. Still has the stock monsoon radio. I think I put some Pioneer speakers in the back when they went bad. They sound better then the originals. But CD player doesn't work. Only mods are a Borla muffler and a cut out air box, K&N filter. I do have a SLP down pipe that broke at the welds from the pipe to the mounting plate, it has about 30K on it. Tires are good maybe 5K on the front ones and 15K on the back. I put in 4 new strut, car rides real nice. It puts a couple of drops of oil down on the ground from a leaking oil pan. Not enough to even warrant adding a quart between oil changes. I either get a synthetic or blend on the oil changes. I replaced the plugs about 6 months ago. Wifes been driving this car, it has seen the track a few times, but we haven't gone in years now with it. It has climate control and both front seats are power. We have some members there that were problem children from CGP, however they haven't caused us much pain. We also ended up with a lot of the knowledgable members though too!!! We really try to keep things clean and decent, well except for the Off Topics. We do end up off topic quite a bit though, but we're trying to keep that under control now.

One of our big advantages is that we allow people to sell anything there. We have a specific section for vendors that users can post what they can do for people. That way custom items can be found fairly easily! We have a couple larger companies, like MonsterParts, Overkill, Morad Auto, etc... that you can ask them questions and they'll post an answer.

I do a lot of the Photoshop work there, to include the T-shirt designs, banners, front Page, etc... And we are always trying to come up with new ideas to keep the site growing. Also, we just switched to PHPBB3, so we are in the middle of making some changes as we speak! It will be for the better as we get things worked out.

Is it any better in terms of info or is it just an E-penis measuring site? I'm sure alot of the older members moved onto other cars or other hobbies in life, so I'm sure there are some of the Clubgp kids over there too.

He was telling me that a pulley alone will yield 100 hp increase and I said thats non-sense.
I don't believe just a pulley alone can increase 100hp.

Its suposed to be 390 hp from the factory.
Yes, its the one they call the terminator and its black.
He has a FWI but doesn't like it because he has to jack the car up and take apart the bottom of the fender to clean the air filter. He said he's thinking about putting the stock air box back in.

I told him I think if he had some supporting mods like:
- cold air intake
- exhaust
- tstat
- plugs
- tune
Then I could see 100hp increase. Its the same motor as the SVT lightening trucks.. yes?

anyway, thanks, I was just wondering.

Hello,
One of the guys I work with has a 2003 Mustang, SVT Cobra, yep its supercharged from the factory.
Its suposed to have 390 hp at the crank bone stock.

Now the question..
- what kind of HP gains is he likely to see if he changes out the stock pulley?
Currently he has a CAI, does that add anything?

FWIW, I don't have a matrix on pulley sizes etc, yif you know which pulley will gain X HP, please post it.

I can't believe I read that entire thread. That was the most pointless, irritating thing ever. I must be really bored at work at 7:44 am. I now remember why my membership to that site lasted all of about 2 days. lol.

I certainly hope I don't chip a piston when I put on my 3.4. According to them I'll need to dump another $2000 into the engine before I can even START to think about dropping pulley size.... LOL!

HP tuners still can't tune 06+... boo.

I don't know about the 97-03's, but the 04+'s are KR monsters stock, lol! Still, with a good tune, it all goes away.

reminds me of when my drive by wire actuator in my throttle body stopped working. I asked on the boards, "is it possible my actuator just went bad and i need a new one?"

"no the actuator doesnt go bad you have a problem somewhere else"

So i went and bought a new one stuck it in and it fixed my problem.

Exactly!!! I just want to grab them by the nape of their necks, shove their faces into our old engine bays, smack their noses, point and say "YES!!"

After reading that thread I really want to start modding my GTP, but I'm giving it to my sister and her husband in a few months so what's the point.

I remember those days. Good times!

As long as the fuel pump is in good shape, and the car is well maintained, I dont see what a 3.4 pulley and custom tune would be a problem in this summer heat. You can even get away with a 3.25 pulley.
