We were out and about in the Pace Car looking for some street action when Rhett spotted a GTO. We chased him down onto the freeway at AZ Mills. We went off a few 70-80 rolls and walked him every time. At one point he even got me on the punch....but apparently didn't have enough. It didn't seem like he was letting off early either since he was downshifting. Oh well...we gave each other a thumbs up and we headed back home.

God damn your car is damn fast for your mods I'm impressed. The only kill I've gone is a GSR-hatch lately. OH yeah very nice kill!!!
As much as I hate to admit it, yes Jessie pulled an 05 GTO. It was brand spankin new, still had no plates. We went off a bunch of rolling runs, and Jessie pulled every time. And he had my 230lbs to add to it, plus the sound system. The GTO owner didnt have a passanger. Jessie's car is running very very strong guys. I think Jessie still needs to buy a turbo though. Haaaaa!

Jess was running 14.2's at Firebird so is this some problem with the GTO owner?
How much if any is this 1/4 ET thing related to traction?
If Dave can run a 13.3 stock cam / not spraying then Jess should also be able to right?
Just wondering because something here doesn't make sence?

14.0-14.2 1/4 times with 2.2 60 foots....no drag radials. MAN....I need some slicks!!! Either way, I know what I did....could be driver error, but all you really need to do with a GTO is row thru the gears in a timely matter, cause they love top end, and no competition!!!
Let me just say that we also went off a 100mph roll, and Jessie still pulled. The GTO started in 4th gear at 100mph, which is the correct gear for that speed in the GTO, and all the GTO owner had to do is step on the gas and not worry about shifting till about 145 mph. I honestly think that GTO was sorta a dog, probably built on a friday. But hey, not all GTOs are created equal. Look at mine! Btw, jessies car is running better than last time at the track

How much driver skill is required to race off a 100mph roll? None. The GTO was a dog, but Jessies car is darn quick for its mods. You can thank me later Jess. lol!
